About Me

I use a depth psychological approach in therapy sessions. This refers to working with what is below the surface of behaviors, conflicts, relationship dynamics, thoughts, feelings, images, and dreams.

While focusing on current challenges, we also address the underlying causes. My approach honors the spirit and tends the soul.

I am Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in North Carolina, Ohio, and Vermont. I am also an AAMFT-approved Supervisor for therapists in training.

I have a Ph.D. in Depth Psychology with an Emphasis in Psychotherapy and a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with an Emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. I have researched and written about parenting, fatherhood, divorce, and sexual abuse.
